Since 1979 members of the Southern Bowling Writers Association have been publicizing and promoting the great sport of bowling.  In recent years, much of that publicity has shifted from traditional sources to the world wide web.

In 2005 SBWA held its 25^th Anniversary celebration by hosting a gala party in Reno, Nevada, and this year, we embark into a new era with new enthusiasm and excitement for the organization and the sport and business of bowling.

SBWA is extremely proud of its past, but also very optimistic about what will come tomorrow –

    “Focused on the Future” is SBWA’s new slogan, and as we head toward the horizon, we’re spreading the word about bowling, “Southern Style”.
